How Society Impacts Your Inner Foundation

An urgent internal crisis within our minds and hearts has been triggered by what we have observed and experienced in the outside world since birth. The humanitarian crisis, social and environmental injustices, and severe inequalities have pushed families and communities further away from each other and from nature.

We have learned to live separated from each other and from nature. We have commoditized both nature and people/relationships, meaning payment for services has replaced extended family relations. Many of us are feeling mentally exhausted, emotionally drained, and spiritually void. Also, our immune system has become increasingly fragile due to all the toxins in the environment, food, water, air, synthetic drugs, and continuous stress in our lives.

We have been under the Illusion for a long time that we can survive without worrying about our future or the impact upon our local communities and the environment. We have been led to believe by societal systems that in order to have seeds and food we need Monsanto, Syngenta and Cargill. To have water we need Evian, Nestle, Coke and Pepsi. To have good health we need Big Pharma. To have money we need banks or an employer. To have energy we need the Shell and BP fossil fuels. To have friends we need Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok. To have knowledge we need Google, Safari and Bing. That has been the spell since the last 100 years! This spell has been enabled because we have been dumbed down through our current societal systems.

How are these societal systems adding value to our lives, the future of the planet and humanity’s evolution?

Today, a large percentage of the population don’t comprehend why certain events happen to them and the impact of societal systems in place, commanding individuals’ life conditions and their future. People with a fragile Inner Foundation are the most affected and may not even be aware of the middle and long-term consequences of such societal systems upon their own lives and their communities.

As a result of how society impacts our Inner Foundation, millions of people are unhappy with their current life situation. These individuals, if they are lucky enough, are performing jobs they dislike. Jobs that stifle creativity and suffocate the individual instead of nurturing their true gifts, talents and passions. The employment landscape is rapidly changing due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and competition is increasing for the fewer remaining jobs. Salaries are stagnating while inflation continues to increase each year. By not being in control of one’s current life situation, individuals may not have a direction, a purpose or meaning to fulfil. This is the outcome of a society that has failed us since many generations ago and this is a valid reason to question the direction in which society is taking us all.

The impact of society on our inner foundation has led us to where we are today: an impoverished, confused, anxious, unhappy, and malnourished population. The majority are living lives they are paid to live, rather than lives they actually want to live. They struggle to know who they truly are, and for a long time, a large part of the population has felt powerless about owning and managing the direction of their lives. Sadly, this is happening on a global scale.  And you might be one of them!

For a long time, we have been living under a spell that has narrowed our minds and hearts! A spell that has separated us from our true selves, from our communities and separated us from the natural living ecosystems of this planet. The very ecological systems we all require as a species to exist and thrive.

Armed with this new level of awareness and knowledge about how society is “shaped” by supposedly invisible forces, we have finally begun to deeply question the what, the why and the who with regards to how these societal systems are impacting all of us.

Millions of individuals are now aware that our global society and its exploitative unsustainable systems are leading humanity on a self-destructive trajectory. Destroying humanity, our planet and its ecosystem all in the juvenile pursuit of profit and control.

Thankfully, it is now becoming mainstream knowledge of the deceitful strategies used by some corporations and their lawyers to make money, skirt the law, influence politicians, and eschew accountability; not having sustainability accounting in place and hiding all the externalities on communities, society and the environment, from public view.

This is the reason why we are in this complete mess and why almost every ecosystem on the planet is now in decline! The days of affordable, easily accessible and high-quality fossil fuels has gone. Now only hard-to-get, costly, polluting fossil fuels remain, increasing risks of environmental disaster. As the extraction becomes more difficult and costly, everything is becoming more costly or less available, which affects all of us.

The problem is that 1% own most of the global wealth including natural resources of the countries, while 99% of the population are struggling to meet their basic needs or worse, live in poverty. Thankfully this corruption and inequality is now becoming more obvious to the majority of us, and so we can move away from denial.

We are starting to experience a wake-up call that is leading us to the realization that we no longer want these corrupt and polluting societal systems inherited from previous generations. We have entered into a new paradigm of awareness, the ” Paradigm of Human Dignity, the age of knowledge, self-leadership and Autonomy. As more and more of us now consciously choose to raise our level of awareness, this personal transformation is affecting the global collective. As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us. However, for this spiritual renaissance to have the authentic power and scale essential to overcome all that is unjust and unethical, self-discovery and personal development is required by each of us to break free from the societal “spell”.

Did you know cultivating a strong Inner Foundation with the right mindset and attitude are crucial for you to move forward? This is a powerful truth that those who own these systems of our society, do not want you to know. It’s time to take your life back! Be aware that there is a balance to be found between living in the now, the present moment and having the foresight to have a vision, to plan, organize and anticipate. Can you sense your “gut feeling” is telling you now is the time to own your power and create your new story? If yes, then you will enjoy reading The Inner Foundation Book.

In conclusion, we are at a critical juncture in human history, where the choices we make will determine the fate of our planet and future generations. It is time to wake up, question, and challenge the societal systems that have failed us and cultivate a new paradigm of awareness, self-leadership, and autonomy. By doing so, we can create a world that reflects our highest values and aspirations, where all individuals can thrive and live with purpose, meaning, and dignity.
